What’s the problem?

Have you noticed your internet speed dropping or are you losing SYNC ? , Many homes have star phone wiring, this is when phone technicians over the years have cut the cable and joined another point to the system, this could be in one location or in multiple locations throughout the home.

Star wiring was fine for phone but with the introduction of ADSL / ADSL 2+ and now NBN this star wiring is a problem, as the NBN / ADSL signal bounces around the internal points causing packet errors in turn causing slow speeds and dropouts.

What’s the solution?

What we offer now is an a few different options, one is an ADSL rewire, what this involves is installing a complete new phone line feed from the NTD ( where the line from the street meets the house ) we run a new direct feed from here directly to the ADSL modem making this run new , undamaged and un tampered with.

We install a new connection plate and perform a line noise test and ADSL speed test,as more homes anre being switched on to NBN FTTN ( Fibre to the Node ) this technology uses your existing copper cabling from the exchange so as we start to faze out the ADSL side of things we are now offering a fixed price NBN ready package, this NBN upgrade is fully compatible with existing ADSL / ADSL 2+ and analog phone services. We recommend the NBN Upgrade package above starting from $399 for a single storey home Perth Metro.

What’s the results?

In majority cases a rewire will significantly improve your NBN /ADSL speeds and reliablity, an example of this is a house we rewired in Craigie WA the customer wasn’t happy with his Telstra broadband speed and on testing it was 2.8 - 4.0 MBPS at the modem point and after the rewire we were pulling speeds of 22.5 MBPS, that’s an 800% increase in speed.

Is an increase guaranteed?

Unfortunately we can’t guarantee that a rewire will increase your speed there may be other issues causing your problem that go further down " the line" to your provider but it’s another step in resolving your problems.. and it’s a good cost effective place to start before you start chopping and changing providers or modems, BUT we are confident you will see some increase to your speed.
